Setting up alerts on an indicator

TradingView can notify you via browser, mobile app, email or webhook when your indicator gives a signal.

1

Apply the indicator to the chart

If it isn't active yet: Add to chart from the Pine Editor.

2

Open the alert dialog

Right-click the chart → "Add Alert" or the bell icon bar on the right. In the alert dialog: under "Condition" select the TMB indicator at the top and the desired signal in the dropdown list (e.g. "Buy Signal", "Sell Signal" — depending on the indicator).

3

Choose trigger logic

"Once Per Bar Close" is usually the right choice — you're only notified at the end of a bar, not on every tick. That avoids false signals.

4

Choose notification channel

Under "Notifications": tick where you want to be notified — browser popup, mobile push (TradingView app), email or webhook (for external bots).

5

Save

Click "Create" — your alert is active. You'll see it under the bell icon in the top right of TradingView.
